Provide patient services while gaining advanced training in adult and paediatric strabismus, neuro-ophthalmology and general ophthalmology, with unpaid time for research. The role includes supervised experience in complex strabismus, consulting sessions, operating sessions, adult neuro-ophthalmology and a weekly neuro-ophthalmology clinic at the Alfred Hospital. Fellows are expected to publish at least one substantial paper, prepare conference papers and journal clubs, contribute to hospital academic life, and participate in Emergency Department, acute ophthalmology and weekend rosters.
