IMMEX is seeking an Occupational Physician trainee or registrar, or a doctor with experience in occupational medicine, to work part-time at Waterloo or Wetherill Park in Sydney. The role includes treatment of workplace injury or illness, employment related medical assessments, and providing independent evidence based medical advice and opinions. There are also opportunities for workplace assessment, occupational health surveillance, risk assessment and work site visits. The role meets the requirements of an Occupational Physician trainee or registrar, and the clinic is accredited by AFOEM for training. Clinics offer comprehensive facilities, an integrated physiotherapy practice, nursing support, and mentoring, training and support from experienced occupational medical doctors, occupational physicians, physios and nurses. Applicants must have full Medical Practitioner Registration with AHPRA, good knowledge and experience in general medicine, musculo-skeletal and occupational medicine, willingness to embrace IMMEX's practice philosophy, and a collegiate approach and reliability. SIRA Accredited IMC Medical Practitioner status is advantageous but not essential. There is no requirement for VR Registration.
