England Fencing is seeking to appoint up to two Non-Executive Directors to contribute to the governance of England Fencing. Responsibilities include setting long term policies, approving the allocation of funds, monitoring operations and financial performance, controlling expenditure, maintaining discipline across the sport, and helping the Board reach balanced and objective decisions. Applicants should understand corporate governance and directors' duties, have a minimum of 12 days per year available, attend meetings unless prevented by exceptional circumstances, and serve on England Fencing committees as required by the Board. The positions are non-remunerated and appointments are for a four year term.
