Work directly with partners and collaborate with other attorneys to represent clients in legal proceedings, draft and file legal documents, advise clients, and try cases. Responsibilities include direct client contact, representing clients in court and before government agencies, researching and drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and overseeing less-experienced attorneys. Requirements include a JD from a Top-15 law school, New York State bar admission, excellent written and oral communication skills, at least 4 years of legal experience preferably in criminal defense or investigations, or 3 years plus a judicial clerkship, a strong interest in criminal law and jury trial work, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients. Salary range: $150,000 to $250,000.
