Join Cartooning for Peace as a member cartoonist in an international network of committed press cartoonists promoting fundamental freedoms, freedom of expression, tolerance and respect for diversity through humour. Member cartoonists provide cartoons for exhibitions, teaching materials, the website and media partnerships, and may take part in conferences, debates, workshops in school, out-of-school and prison settings, and meetings with the public in Europe and around the world. The organisation keeps cartoonists informed about its news, current events and the use of their cartoons, and supports their editorial work within the network. Applications must include a biography specifying publication journals and a website or blog address, a drawn self-portrait, a selection of 10 cartoons in separate JPEG files, and a cover letter. Applications are reviewed once a year by a committee of seven member cartoonists. The application deadline for 2025-2026 is 30 June 2027.
