Perform clinical testing, release accurate patient results, operate and maintain laboratory analyzers, conduct quality control, validate reagent lots and methods, use laboratory information systems, participate in proficiency testing, maintain specimen-handling expertise, follow quality and safety standards, and support training and process improvement. Registration through CAMLPR pathways or certification with CSMLS, recent relevant laboratory experience, analytical and organizational skills, laboratory software proficiency, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are required. The successful applicant may be cross-trained in Urinalysis or Microbiology.
