KLING KLANG KLONG is seeking an experienced Media-Composer and Sound Designer for a full-time role in Berlin, creating sound experiences for large-scale media installations worldwide. Responsibilities include composing music for acoustic and electronic instruments, sonifying motion graphics and visuals, producing soundscapes, sound design for exhibitions, virtual spaces and films, recording, and mixing. Applicants should have more than 5 years of experience as a Composer and Sound Designer in the media experience industry, more than 2 years of experience in sound synthesis and music programming, basic knowledge of popular DAWs, good knowledge of Avid Pro Tools and Ableton Live, good organisational skills, and broad knowledge of art and music disciplines. Desired skills include modern sound production techniques, experience on media construction sites, and spatial audio. Experience with Pure Data, Supercollider or Max, basic sheet music reading, and basic programming knowledge are additional advantages. Remote work is not possible. The position is a contract starting today.
