Plan logistics for incoming material using an online portal; coordinate with customs agents, brokers, airlines, gateways and subsidiaries; handle local freight logistics; address service issues; maintain, prepare and control reports; improve operational systems, processes and policies; generate periodic MIS reports; reduce logistics costs through optimization and consolidation; improve transit times by resolving freight delays; develop strategic and operational plans, manage execution and measure results; and handle FTL and LTL carrier activities, including meeting stated transit times and minimizing exceptions.
