Part-time employment for people studying Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work with a lived or living experience of mental health issues. Cadets complete two days of paid work placement and one day of paid study leave each week over a 10-month cadetship. They work alongside clinical staff and support workers in PARC programs, supporting participants in their recovery by participating in groups and building meaningful relationships. A Peer Cadet Coordinator provides dedicated support as cadets develop their knowledge, skills and confidence in peer work.
