Contractor role based in Surry Hills, with work in the AMPA theatre for AMPA events and public theatre hires. Operate lighting for live performances, work with lighting desks and create scenes, apply lighting techniques for different performances, maintain and clean lighting equipment, liaise with department heads, production managers, artists, promoters and clients, troubleshoot lighting systems, follow safety procedures, and take responsibility for stage and production areas. Experience in live events, self-motivation, strong organisation and attention to detail, and availability to work evenings and weekends are required.
