Details.
Brooklyn Acupuncture Project's licensed acupuncturists are caring, grounded, well-organized, strong communicators, comfortable working as part of a community clinic team, and able to treat in a fast-paced setting. Contracted practitioners hold their own malpractice insurance, commit to treating two shifts per week of approximately five hours, attend quarterly meetings, show up fully and on time, care for the physical space while present, give two to three weeks notice when taking time off, commit to serving at BAP for at least 1.5 years, and give one month's notice when leaving. Weekend shifts are often needed. Practitioners are independently contracted and receive a percentage of fees collected from patients during their shift. BIPOC practitioners and Spanish language speakers are a plus. The clinic is not currently hiring but welcomes resumes, cover letters, and questions.
