Harrison Psychology Group is hiring a fully qualified LGBTQ+ affirmative Clinical or Counselling Psychologist registered and accredited with HCPC. The role involves carrying a weekly caseload of 8 to 15 individual clients or couples, providing face-to-face therapy in the London consulting room near Chancery Lane and Holborn and online therapy via Zoom, attending monthly individual and group supervision, maintaining progress notes and reports, formulating treatment plans, managing client difficulties and potentially high-risk needs, maintaining healthy boundaries, managing diaries and upholding cancellation policies. Applicants should have a DClinPsych, DPsych, PhD or similar, at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, experience with a wide range of psychological issues and high-risk clients, and experience practising at least two therapy models including a Third Wave Therapy. Experience with the NHS is highly desired. In-depth knowledge of LGBTQ+ identities and relationships and experience working affirmatively with the LGBTQ+ community are valued. The practice offers a flexible, supportive and friendly environment, an annual mutually agreed contract, flexible scheduling, holiday flexibility and regular supervision. Earnings are £70 to £120 per session depending on experience, expertise and caseload.
