Responsible for greeting patients, explaining specimen collection requirements, performing phlebotomies, Holter monitoring, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, ECG tracings and special test collections, maintaining client relationships, completing data entry, and preparing specimens for transportation. A recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent related healthcare experience is required. ECG training, proficient data entry, communication, interpersonal, customer service, independent and team-working abilities, patient privacy, and the ability to travel between Patient Service Centres are required.
