Volunteer opportunity assisting women in childbirth at Maimonides Medical Center. New volunteers must attend a four-day training session from December 5 to 8, 2022, from 9 AM to 6 PM, then serve twice a month for two years in one of the listed time slots. Applicants must have experienced birth, be willing to assist patients regardless of ethnic, racial, or religious background, and be vaccinated against COVID. Personal interviews are scheduled after applications are received.
