CakesBerlin is looking for a talented individual for its cake studio in Berlin, Kreuzberg. The role involves baking cakes, cupcakes and cake bases, decorating signature buttercream cakes, executing custom designs for client orders, occasionally supporting new recipe and product development, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards and assisting with other production-related kitchen tasks. Applicants need a German Meister diploma or at least 3 years of professional experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen or cake studio, strong cake baking and decoration experience including buttercream cakes, creativity, independence, reliability, organisational skills, the ability to work independently and in a team, willingness to work weekdays and occasional weekends, and good English communication skills.
