Project Commotion is seeking a movement instructor and administrator to teach classes for infants through elementary-aged children and youth, oversee privately funded contracts, and facilitate Jardín Family Playgroups and Project Commotion Movement Classes. Responsibilities include leading or co-teaching movement classes, creating and documenting curricula, tracking student progress, communicating with families and partner organizations, supporting program scheduling and evaluation, assisting with outreach and enrollment, attending staff meetings and trainings, and contributing to fundraising efforts. The role works across Schools on the Move, Jardín Family Playgroups, and PC Movement Classes, with approximately 50% direct instruction and 50% administrative time. A bachelor's degree or five years of relevant lived or professional experience is required, along with at least one year working with children ages 2 to 8 and experience teaching movement-based education. Bilingual and bi-literate skills are highly preferred. This is an in-person position with a Tuesday through Saturday schedule, a salary of $67,600 to $89,856 dependent on education units and permit qualifications, full health, dental, and vision benefits, paid vacation, 19 paid holidays, and paid training.
