Haynes Boone welcomes applicants who have completed judicial clerkships. Judicial clerks gain valuable research and writing skills and exposure to trial and appellate processes. Lawyers who join the firm after completing eligible judicial clerkships receive a clerkship bonus and appropriate credit for the years spent clerking. Eligible clerkships include those with Federal District Courts, Federal Courts of Appeals, the U.S. Supreme Court and state supreme courts. Clerkships with other courts are considered case by case.
