ShowTex is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented J-1 Intern to join its Finance & Accounting team in New York. The internship lasts 6 months or longer and offers practical experience in financial operations within a dynamic, global organization. Responsibilities include assisting with financial reporting systems and tools, day-to-day accounting tasks, financial models, forecasting and budgeting, cash flow management, financial transactions and journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank and credit card reconciliations. The role also involves collaborating with other departments to provide financial data and support decision-making. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in accounting, finance or a related field, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, good written and verbal communication, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, accurate administrative skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Fluent English is required, and other languages are a plus.
