Oppenheimer's Investment Banking Analyst program provides experience in company valuation, financial modeling, corporate strategy, and transaction structuring. Analysts work with and receive training and mentoring from experienced professionals. Responsibilities can include researching industry sectors and capital markets insights, assessing comparable companies, precedent transactions and potential investors or buyers, preparing financial analyses and models, crafting memos, presentations and pitches, conducting due diligence investigations, and participating in marketing or recruiting activities. Requirements include an undergraduate degree, with finance or accounting preferred, strong quantitative, writing and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Prior work experience as a summer or full-time analyst at another investment bank is a plus. Applications for the full-time program are accepted through September 4th.
