The International Security Manager serves as the Contractor's senior in-country representative and primary liaison with the EUCAP Somalia Project Manager. The role is responsible for the overall management, coordination, supervision and delivery of contracted security services, including directing personnel and assets, coordinating daily activities, overseeing reporting and incident management, maintaining workforce performance and welfare standards, ensuring personnel are trained and equipped, delivering in-theatre training, supporting crisis response and maintaining compliance with security policies and contractual obligations. Candidates must have a relevant bachelor's degree, recognised police or military rank, or a relevant vocational qualification with ten years of professional experience. They must also be IT and radio literate, proficient with satellite communications and GPS devices, have CEFR C1 English or higher, hold an FPOS-I or equivalent first aid qualification and be qualified on relevant weapons. Minimum experience includes 10 years of professional experience and 7 years in military, law enforcement, security or close protection environments. Preferred experience includes international management experience and work in crisis, conflict or high-risk environments.
