A 12-week program for law students and recent graduates interested in exploring a career in law. Recipients typically work with lawyers from two different countries, compare legal practice in two jurisdictions, gain exposure to international practice, and receive an attractive salary and travel expenses. Applicants must be seeking a permanent work contract, demonstrate legal ability and interest in international practice, speak English and relevant local working languages, and typically have at least two years of formal legal training. US candidates may qualify after completing two years in an ABA-approved law school JD curriculum by the end of the clerkship.
