Prospera is hiring a remote, part-time contractor to conduct initial client intake assessments and onboard clients to the Prospera platform. Intake assessments are completed by phone as part of the clinical team. Duties include using motivational interviewing OARS skills to build rapport, assessing eligibility and fit for the maternal mental health program, assessing suicidality and symptoms of severe mental illness including bipolar disorder and psychosis, explaining Prospera's services, helping clients select services, setting up accounts, scheduling first appointments, completing documentation according to Prospera's protocols, and communicating with the clinical team. Requirements include a BA or BS in psychology or a related field, experience with structured or semi-structured clinical assessment, motivational interviewing OARS skills, coursework in clinical psychology, understanding of clinical diagnoses and symptoms, strong social skills, an interest in perinatal mental health, a quiet private place for phone calls, and a computer with a camera, microphone, and reliable internet. A master's degree is preferred. Licensed mental health professionals may apply, but licensure is not required. Candidates must commit at least 15 hours per week and be available every weekday during morning and afternoon hours. Compensation is $34 per hour on average, with the rate varying by performance and including base pay plus commission bonuses. The role does not accrue hours toward mental health professional licensure.
