McHaffey & Nice, LLC, an immigration firm on Beacon Hill in Boston, is seeking a full-time Paralegal to start in or around August 2026. The position will be partly remote. Qualified candidates should have a strong interest in immigration law, be organized, detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and be interested in working with clients seeking immigration status. Fluency in a second language, particularly French, Spanish, Arabic, or Haitian Creole, is highly valued but not required. Duties include assisting attorneys with immigration forms, drafting affidavits and cover letters, collecting and organizing country conditions documents, preparing and submitting packages to Immigration Court and USCIS, communicating with clients and government agencies, following up with clients about deadlines and expiration dates, updating the case management system, scheduling appointments, taking payments, and filing.
