A respected New York City immigration law firm is seeking a licensed and experienced Business Immigration Attorney. The role handles employment-based immigration and removal defense, including representing clients in Immigration Court and USCIS interviews, preparing employment-based, family-based, and humanitarian immigration petitions, responding to PERM audits, requests for evidence, motions, waivers, and appellate briefs, evaluating eligibility for immigration benefits, supervising paralegals and case handlers, communicating legal strategies to clients, and managing a high-volume caseload while meeting strict deadlines. Applicants must be licensed and admitted to practice law in New York, have at least 2 years of business immigration experience, deep knowledge of USCIS, DOL, and EOIR processes, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong organizational and time-management abilities. Italian, Albanian, Spanish, French, and other languages are a plus. Salary starts at $70,000, depending on experience and qualifications, with performance-based bonuses.
