Health Care Assistants provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. Duties include providing personal care, assisting with mobility and transfers, supporting medication management in line with care plans, preparing and assisting with meals, offering companionship and emotional support, monitoring clients' health, maintaining accurate care records, and following safeguarding and confidentiality procedures. Prior care experience is preferred but not essential, as training is provided. Applicants should be caring, patient and empathetic, have good communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have the right to work in the UK. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred for some roles, while NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is preferred but not required.
