The Australian Performing Arts Grammar School is seeking an exceptional educational leader to provide overall educational leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day management of the School. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the role involves leading strategic planning, teaching and learning, staff development, student wellbeing, community engagement, governance, compliance, operational management, reporting, sustainable enrolment growth, and continuous improvement. The successful applicant will demonstrate proven senior educational leadership experience, a clear strategic vision, strong instructional leadership and curriculum knowledge, success in improving student outcomes, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, experience leading change, and a commitment to child safety, wellbeing, inclusive education, NESA requirements, independent school governance, educational excellence, and the performing arts. Essential qualifications and requirements include NESA Accreditation, a current NSW Working with Children Check, relevant teaching qualifications, and experience in educational leadership within an independent or secondary school setting. Experience in strategic planning, enrolment growth, organisational development, or a performing arts or specialist school environment is desirable. A remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant based on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated leadership capability.
