Bill Kenwright Ltd is seeking an experienced, passionate and established Head of Production to lead the production and technical departments across multiple theatre productions in the UK, the West End and internationally. The role is responsible for delivering productions on time and within budget, line managing production and technical staff, advising on feasibility and scheduling, overseeing technical information, health and safety, storage and asset management, production spending, budgeting and reporting. The successful candidate will have substantial commercial theatre experience, including delivering touring plays and large-scale musicals, managing multiple productions at once, budgeting touring productions, working in the West End and international markets, understanding health and safety legislation and industry union agreements, and experience of technical theatre, CAD software, supplier relationships and line management. Some evening and weekend work is required, particularly during production weeks and show visits. The role is based at the BKL Head Office in London Paddington, involves 40 hours per week, and offers 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays. Salary is commensurate with experience.
