St Edmund’s College Canberra is seeking an outstanding educator and leader to provide educational leadership within the Health and Physical Education Faculty. The role involves leading the strategic development, implementation and evaluation of Years 7 to 12 Physical Education, Health and related courses; supporting and developing faculty staff; leading curriculum, assessment and reporting practices; promoting student wellbeing, participation and engagement; managing faculty operations, budgets, resources, facilities and equipment; and coordinating school swimming and athletics carnivals. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education in the Edmund Rice tradition, the ability to lead excellence in teaching, learning, curriculum and assessment, an understanding of boys’ education, strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to respond to student wellbeing and behaviour concerns. Relevant teaching qualifications, current ACT Teacher Quality Institute registration and a valid Working with Vulnerable People card are required.
