Details.
The Zheng group is currently recruiting graduate students to work on molecular imaging, photodynamic therapy and nanomedicine. Research focuses on light-activated intelligent molecules and nature-inspired theranostic nanomedicine, including cancer therapeutics, molecular imaging, photodynamic therapy agents, drug delivery vehicles and phototransducing lipid nanoparticles. Researchers and trainees from diverse educational backgrounds work dynamically and synergistically across discovery research, including small molecule or macromolecule synthesis, evaluation in cancer cells and advanced animal models. The group has in-house capabilities and collaborations with imaging technology and clinical translational laboratories across Toronto.
