Operate Lulu's custom-built electric-assisted gelato bike around designated downtown Toronto neighbourhoods and routes. Duties include preparing, cleaning, powering and stocking the bike, setting up at locations, selling and serving gelato, posting social media updates, chatting with customers, handling payments, packing up and returning the bike, unloading inventory and supplies, and responding calmly to weather changes, location shifts and other unexpected situations. The role is casual, flexible and often solo, with on-call shifts that may be offered with a few hours' notice. Candidates should be responsible, reliable, warm, friendly, outgoing, comfortable with social media, able to navigate the city on a large bike, comfortable outdoors, able to handle light physical work, and resourceful when plans change. A Food Health and Safety Certificate is required and will be paid for by Lulu's. Pay is $18 per hour plus tips and free gelato. Located in downtown Toronto near the Portlands area.
