Details.
A fully funded PhD studentship at UCL Mechanical Engineering. The project will investigate how joint microarchitecture drives mechanical dysfunction in knee osteoarthritis, using advanced X-ray imaging, biomechanics, computational modelling and musculoskeletal biology. This collaborative project between UCL, the Royal Veterinary College and ESRF, The European Synchrotron, will involve HiP-CT imaging at ESRF. Candidates with interests in biomechanics, biomedical imaging, image analysis, computational modelling or musculoskeletal research are invited to apply. Further details and application information are available on the UCL vacancies and studentships webpage.
