Join Cape as a Front End Web Developer to help build its spend management platform. The initial focus is on CSS, maintaining a master stylesheet, and converting Figma designs into working HTML, CSS and JavaScript pages for integration with the existing back end. Within the first couple of months, the role will transition to building a React app with reusable components, composable pages and unit and functionality testing. The role offers opportunities to learn React, develop React Native skills for iOS and Android, and potentially transition into a Full Stack Engineer role. Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of web development experience, strong core JavaScript skills, experience building complex single page applications, React expertise, a unit testing mindset, strong CSS and HTML skills, an understanding of web application architecture, and experience delivering key product features. Bonus experience includes GCP DevOps, payments or fintech, and React Native. Applicants must be Australian permanent residents or citizens, based in Sydney, Australia, and willing to work from the office 2 days per week.
