Baliga Ayurveda & Skin Clinic is looking for an experienced and highly motivated female massage therapist to deliver and maintain the quality of massage treatments at its Ayurvedic healthcare clinic near Old Street Station, London. The role includes performing 30, 60 and 90-minute Swedish, deep tissue, pregnancy, Indian head, aromatherapy, lymphatic drainage, Ayurvedic and sports massages, identifying client requirements, creating treatment plans, maintaining accurate client records, providing well-being guidance, and keeping treatment rooms clean, tidy and ready for clients. Candidates should preferably be qualified to carry out various massage treatments, have an NVQ Level 3 or higher qualification in deep tissue and/or sports massage, their own insurance and professional association membership, extensive knowledge of anatomy and movement relating to soft tissue mobilisation, excellent communication and client retention skills, first aid training, and the right to work in the UK. Nursing, physiotherapy, chiropractic and osteopathy degree students without professional registration are encouraged to apply, and training can be provided to suitable candidates. The role requires weekdays and weekends, with the option of additional hours. The position is full-time, part-time, commission, temporary or contract, and is not remote.
