Provide tailored, strengths-based case management to men who use violence in family and intimate partner relationships. Duties include intake and assessment, risk and needs assessments, safety planning, one-on-one case management and post-participation counselling, developing case plans, supporting behaviour change, monitoring risk, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, making referrals, maintaining case records, and participating in training, supervision and reflective practice. Applicants should have a degree in Social Work or a related qualification, a Graduate Certificate in Client Assessment and Case Management, Men’s Family Violence, eligibility for relevant professional membership, family violence intervention and case management experience, knowledge of MARAM, safety planning, gendered violence and trauma-informed practice, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and flexibly in a team. A current driver’s licence, Working with Children Check and satisfactory National Police Check are required. The position is 0.6 EFT, based at Melbourne CBD and Werribee locations, with travel between branches and other locations as required. Salary is negotiated according to qualifications and experience under the Social Community Homecare and Disability Services Award 2010.
