The Family Engagement Coordinator leads family engagement and parent education across all CCFC child development sites. Responsibilities include planning and facilitating monthly parent education meetings, preparing culturally and linguistically responsive materials, coordinating interpretation and meeting logistics, gathering family feedback, maintaining audit-ready documentation, conducting the annual family needs assessment, supporting parent input, connecting families with community resources, and partnering with teaching teams. Required qualifications include an associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, social work, family studies, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; experience in family engagement, parent education, community outreach, or a related role; strong facilitation, organization, and communication skills; regular travel between CCFC sites; and availability for some family-friendly evening or morning hours. The role is fully on-site and requires the ability to pass a Live Scan background check, obtain TB clearance, meet California Community Care Licensing requirements, and lift up to 25 pounds. Bilingual skills and familiarity with CDE or Title 5 requirements are preferred.
