Join Corio Waste Management's Ballarat-based team operating modern, well-maintained vehicles servicing commercial, industrial and government clients across Victoria. Responsibilities include safely operating company vehicles, plant and equipment including rear lift, front lift and hook lift equipment, inspecting and reporting maintenance requirements, meeting customer service needs, accurately completing waste tracking records, maintaining productivity, initiating improvement actions and communicating regularly with managers and supervisors. Applicants need at least 2 years' experience driving heavy rigid or heavy combination vehicles, a current HC licence, the ability to provide a 5-year Vic Roads driver history and full driving record, knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety laws, the ability to work autonomously and in a team, geographic knowledge of the Melbourne metropolitan area, and a Working With Children Check. Waste management truck experience is an advantage, while forklift or vehicle-mounted crane licences are preferred. Environmental waste laws training will be provided.
