LID Consulting is seeking an ESD consultant to deliver sustainability consulting across a range of building types and industries. The role involves leading and delivering sustainability strategies and advice for building and precinct design, providing strategic ESD advice, managing ESD activities, reviewing technical work, communicating with design teams and stakeholders, preparing reports for councils, building surveyors and sustainability certification organisations, undertaking and reviewing building physics modelling, and contributing to quotes and tender submissions. Applicants should have tertiary education in ESD, sustainable building design, energy efficiency, engineering or another building-related course with a sustainability focus. Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, computer literacy, attention to detail, teamwork and autonomous working skills are required, along with a passion for sustainability and working rights in Australia. Experience with sustainability tools and rating systems is favourable but not mandatory.
