Volunteer emotional care providers support organizations and individuals preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disasters and crises. The role includes providing crisis intervention and emotional care, behavioral health support, training, and psychoeducation to communities, organizations, individuals, families, healthcare workers, hospital leadership, government agencies, asylum seekers, refugees, unaccompanied minors, and responders. Providers respond by invitation and in partnership with organizations and teams.
