Join MNC's early care and education team in the Mission and Bayview districts. Create a safe and nurturing learning environment for children ages 3 months to 3 years, support Lead Teachers with small group activities, implement the Creative Curriculum, design individualized lesson plans, observe and share children's milestones with parents, encourage family involvement, support health and safety practices, use research-based teaching strategies and positive discipline techniques, and provide teacher support in the absence of the Lead Teacher or based on program needs. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and enrollment in college toward an AA degree in Early Childhood Development, ESL or General Education, required training and early childhood education units, a California Child Development Associate Teacher Level Permit, required clearances, immunization and health screening willingness, CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it, and Early Care and Education Workforce Registry registration or willingness to register. Experience in an infant or toddler setting is required. Bilingual or bi-literate candidates and knowledge of Head Start or Early Head Start are preferred.
