Teach Hebrew and Jewish Studies to early childhood students from two-year-olds through Kindergarten, including reading and writing, conversational Hebrew vocabulary, letters, prayers, Jewish concepts, traditions, holidays, values, and Israel. Collaborate with the Jewish Studies department, classroom teachers, families, and other teaching teams to integrate Jewish learning throughout the curriculum, prepare and participate in Shabbat celebrations and holiday programs, create an inclusive classroom environment, and build warm relationships with students and colleagues. The ideal candidate is fluent in Hebrew, familiar with Hebrew preschool songs and stories, knowledgeable about Jewish traditions and Reform Jewish practice, experienced with early childhood-aged children, adaptable, collaborative, proactive, personable, warm, and committed to the school's mission. An advanced degree or equivalent experience is required. The full-time schedule is generally 7:55 AM to 3:05 PM, with occasional evening hours and Thursday faculty meetings from 3:45 PM to 5:00 PM. The position starts August 27, 2026.
