Teach Hebrew and Jewish Studies to early childhood students from two-year-olds through Kindergarten, including reading and writing, conversational Hebrew vocabulary, letters, prayers, Jewish concepts, traditions, holidays, values, and Israel. Collaborate with the Jewish Studies department, classroom teachers, families, and teaching teams to integrate Jewish learning throughout the curriculum, prepare and participate in Shabbat celebrations and holiday programs, create an inclusive classroom environment, and attend faculty meetings, professional development, conferences, and school events. The ideal candidate is fluent in Hebrew, familiar with Hebrew preschool songs and stories, knowledgeable about Jewish traditions and Reform Jewish practice, experienced with early childhood-aged children, adaptable, collaborative, proactive, warm, personable, and committed to the school's mission. An advanced degree or equivalent experience is required. The position is full-time, generally scheduled from 7:55 AM to 3:05 PM, with occasional evening hours and Thursday faculty meetings from 3:45 PM to 5:00 PM. Start date is August 27, 2026. Salary range is $60,000 to $90,000, with paid time off, retirement contributions, medical, vision, and dental insurance, and complimentary lunch.
