Immediate opening for caring and nurturing assistant teachers in a Reggio-inspired, constructivist Jewish early childhood program serving children ages 18 months to 5 years old, with enrollment beginning at 15 months in the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities include caring for the physical and emotional well-being of 9 to 16 children, planning curriculum based on children's interests, maintaining safe indoor and outdoor environments, documenting learning through classroom displays and the Kaymbu app, and communicating with teaching teams, families, and administration. A minimum bachelor's degree is required. Early childhood education background and 1 to 3 years of early education experience are preferred. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively, obtain Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care Strong Start certification within 90 days, and actively interact with children through kneeling, bending, running, and sitting on the floor or in small chairs. This is a 10-month position with summer work opportunities. Full-time employees working 30 or more hours receive paid time off, holidays, health and dental coverage, retirement, parking or transportation subsidy, and discounted tuition. Salary is $40,000 to $45,000 for a full-time position.
