Spark Experiences is seeking a fun, personable and polished local driver guide to execute private luxury San Francisco area tours. This part-time role is based on seasonal demand, with an immediate need for the current travel season and potential to continue year-round. Responsibilities include safely driving luxury vehicles, leading private tour groups of 2 to 5 passengers, providing expert commentary and local insights, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, providing client service and pre and post tour follow-up, and responding quickly to tour assignment inquiries. Requirements include a clean driving record, safe city driving skills, engaging storytelling, deep knowledge of San Francisco or motivation to learn, experience serving a discerning luxury audience, strong customer service skills, the ability to work with families with children 5 and up, a current smartphone and data plan, excellent English, problem-solving ability, and flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. A bachelor's degree or higher is strongly encouraged. Prior tour guiding or professional driving experience and destination expertise in Muir Woods, Napa and Sonoma Wine Country, or Silicon Valley are highly desirable. Employment is contingent on a clean background check, drug test and DMV record. Vehicles are garaged in West Oakland, and guides must be able to pick up and return vehicles there before and after every assignment. Compensation is competitive, with potential cash gratuities and performance bonuses.
