Casual fixed-term teaching role for people with experience in drama, speech and drama, acting or performing arts. Teach between 8 and 22 hours per week at a consistent venue during school terms, with an immediate start or as soon as possible. Classes generally run from 4.00pm to 8.15pm on weeknights and from 9.00am to 3.30pm on Saturdays at locations across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs. Applicants should have a strong teaching or performing arts background, experience or natural aptitude for teaching children aged 6 to 14, excellent communication skills, a positive and self-motivated attitude, availability outside school hours, and a VIT registration or Working With Children Check. Applicants must own a reliable car and mobile phone, commit to the agreed teaching times for at least 12 months, and participate in paid training sessions twice a year.
