King Pup welcomes applications from people with good credentials who are interested in working with animals. Dog walking and pet sitting are rewarding roles involving outdoor work, daily exercise and building relationships with animals. The work requires dedication, commitment, patience, care and an understanding of animal behavior. Applicants must be willing to work outdoors in all weather, handle dogs of different shapes, sizes and temperaments, deal with emergencies and provide extra compassion and diligence for rescue dogs. King Pup prefers candidates who can commit to at least one year, have a genuine passion for working with animals and have relevant animal experience, such as dog ownership, animal charity volunteering or professional work at a shelter or vet's office. Applicants should have an internet-enabled smartphone, a clean record and at least three references. Seasonal hiring is not available.
