Railtown Cafe is seeking a full-time Dishwasher/Prep Cook for its BOH team at 397 Railway Street in Vancouver. The role includes washing dishes and cooking equipment, cleaning cooking stations and equipment, maintaining open communication with the BOH team, and assisting in other BOH areas as needed. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods and lift and carry 50 lbs throughout the shift, feel comfortable working in a warm kitchen environment, and have thoroughness and time management skills. Related experience is preferred. The position offers competitive pay, a bi-weekly tip pool averaging $2 per hour based on sales and guest experience, overtime pay after 40 hours, a daily staff meal, staff room, development opportunities, cafe discounts, complimentary select beverages during shifts, and uniform service.
