FGS Longview is seeking a Director, Strategic Communications to join its Calgary office. The role leads day-to-day execution of long-term communications assignments and special situations, including managing account projects, developing strategic communications materials, engaging with clients and advisors, managing media relationships, supporting new business opportunities, and mentoring early career colleagues. Candidates should have strong writing, analytical, organisational, collaboration, time management and client service skills, with confidence working in high-stakes situations. The role requires 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in agency or client-side communications, finance, law, journalism or a related field, and a bachelor's degree with an outstanding academic record. Strategic and financial communications experience in a professional services or strategic communications advisory firm is strongly preferred, and energy sector experience is an asset. Candidates must be authorised to work in Canada without current or future sponsorship.
