Asset Construction Hire is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic or Fitter to join its workshop team. Responsibilities include safety testing, servicing equipment to manufacturer specifications, mechanical and cosmetic repairs, general inspections, group projects, and occasional on-site servicing and repairs. The role involves working with equipment including scissor lifts, excavators, generators, air compressors, boom lifts, wood chippers, cars and trucks. Applicants need to work well in a team, contribute to complex problem solving, support less experienced team members, and have a strong understanding of hydraulics and diesel engines. A driver's licence and trade qualification are required. A truck licence, EWP Yellow Card, high risk licences, White Card and Asbestos Awareness are advantageous.
