Perform finite element structural analysis, 3D structural BIM modeling, finite element method analysis, and structural member design calculations for new and existing building structures. Apply ASCE-7 building code procedures and perform response spectrum analysis for seismic loads. Work under a project manager with drafters, check analyses, designs, and drawings, conduct site visits, respond to RFIs, review submittals, produce construction administration sketches, communicate with architects, clients, and consultants, assist with office design standards and quality control, and support junior engineers and drafters. A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of relevant experience are required, including experience with ETABS, ENERCALC, Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, and RISA 3D. The position is based at 160 Pine Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94111, with a salary range of $106,200 to $108,500 per year.
