Bank of Baroda invites applications for a Deputy Compliance Officer to support the Chief Compliance Officer for US Operations. Responsibilities include maintaining and administering the US Compliance Program, with a focus on BSA, AML, OFAC, Consumer Compliance, Fair Lending and CRA requirements; guiding the Compliance team on sanctions and transaction monitoring alerts; performing risk assessments, monitoring and compliance testing; handling regulatory examinations, internal audits, model validations and investigations; reviewing policies, procedures and systems; supporting business lines with regulatory developments, customer onboarding, risk rating and due diligence; identifying and mitigating compliance risks; participating in governance forums; and serving as Backup Compliance Officer. A bachelor's degree is required and CAMS certification is preferred. Applicants must have at least 5 years of compliance experience, knowledge of federal and state banking laws and regulations, experience with regulatory examinations, internal audits and compliance system model validation, and knowledge of wire transfers and trade finance transactions. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, sanctions screening systems, transaction monitoring systems, World-Check and LexisNexis is required, along with strong organizational, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
